Image / Batch Processing: Load Images in place of Load Image.Manga Upscaling Process

- Image Processing GUI: chaiNNer
- Upscaling Model: MangaScaleV3
- Image Editor: Adobe Photoshop
Upscaling
Download 2x_MangaScaleV3.pth.
Download and open chaiNNer.
Set up the nodes as follows:
- Select your input image in the
Load Imagenode. - Select the 2x_MangaScaleV3 PyTorch file in the
Load Modelnode. - Select an output directory and type a filename in the
Save Imagenode.
Click the Play button at the top to process.
Post-processing
Sharpen to taste
Self-explanatory. You can roll this step into chaiNNer to automate it, but I leave it as part of the general compositing process in Photoshop.
Address screentone artifacts
The model may introduce gradient-like artifacts in some screentone areas. You can mask the original raw to cover them.
